Pack Light, Notice More

Pack Light, Notice More

Don't bring everything home, just the way you are seeing it.

Some of the best souvenirs don’t fit in a suitcase.

Oranges stacked like sunshine.
The way people eat standing up at the bar, unfazed and elegant.
The light in a windowsill that makes everything look like a painting.
A scarf tied just so—loose, effortless, perfect.
Midday wine and no one calling it indulgent.

I can’t bring these things home. But they stay with me.

Travel doesn’t always give you big ideas. Sometimes it just shifts the lens. It reminds you how much you love color. Or leisure. Or detail. It shows you that inspiration lives in ordinary things—when you're looking closely.

And when you are away from routines, you do look. You notice more. You remember how good noticing feels.

I am trying to remember that I don’t need to bring everything back.
Just the eyes I had while I was here.
